The Rivertown Fest is a rocking annual block ​party in Downtown Altavista. It’s where cool ​river water and piping hot grills meet — with a ​side of live entertainment and a car show! This ​family-friendly event has a $5.00 entrance fee. ​Children 8 and under get free admission.

And all for a good cause! The funds raised from this event will be reinvested via grants into downtown ​Altavista to further Altavista On Track’s (AOT) revitalization mission. AOT is a nationally accredited 501(c)3 ​nonprofit and an affiliate of the National Main Street and Virginia Main Street programs. In partnership with ​the Town of Altavista, we work to provide business assistance to downtown businesses while also organizing ​family-friendly community events that bring people downtown throughout the year.
